Sagem/Sagemcom 1704-1704N, Sagem/Sagemcom 4320
To set up Port Forwarding (open up ports) on a Sagem/Sagemcom 1704 or Sagem/Sagemcom 4320, follow these steps:
- You will need to access the modem interface by going to http://192.168.254.254.
- You may need to authenticate to go into the modem setup interface. On this window, type in admin for both the user name and password. Click “OK” button.
- On the right hand side click on “Device Info” and then “DHCP.”
- Find the MAC Address that matches 00:22:48 and take note of the IP address assigned to it. You will need it later.
- Select “Advanced Setup” then “Upnp” and uncheck the “Enable or disable Upnp protocol” box, then click “Apply/Save” button.
- Select “Advanced Setup” then “NAT” at the top you will see an “Add” button click on it.
- NAT Virtual Servers
- Select the “Custom Service” option and type in the name you want to use (example: “Xbox One”).
- In the “Server IP Address:” field, put the IP from earlier.
- Select the appropriate protocol for the port.
- Type in 3074 in the “External Port Start,” “External Port End” and “Internal Port Start” fields. The “Internal Port End” field will change automatically.
- Click on the “Apply/Save” button.
- You should now see a line that is labeled “Xbox One.” If so, power cycle the modem and restart the device, then test the connection.
Arris NVG343
To set up Port Forwarding (open up ports) on an Arris NVG 343, follow these steps:
- You will need to access the modem interface by going to http://192.168.254.254.
- You may need to authenticate to go into the modem setup interface. On this window, type in admin as the access code. Click “Continue” button.
- From the modem interface, select Firewall then NAT/Gaming.
- Select the Service you need the ports opened for. If the Service/Game is not listed in the drop down Service menu, you can add it manually.
- Add a Custom Service Name (example: “Security Camera”).
- Enter the Global (External) Port/range of ports the service needs open.
- Enter the LAN port the Service is using.
- Select the Protocol and click “Add.”
- Select the Device that requires ports to be opened from the drop down.
- Click “Add” to add the entry to the list.
Comtrend
To set up Port Forwarding (open up ports) on a Comtrend, follow these steps:
- You will need to access the modem interface by going to http://192.168.254.254.
- You may need to authenticate to go into the modem setup interface. On this window, type in admin for both the user name and password. Click “OK” button.
- Click on NAT then on Port Triggering.
- Use default interface. Note both ppp0 and ppp1 will need to be configured.
- Select an application from the dropdown if listed. Otherwise, select custom application and enter a name.
- Enter starting port trigger.
- Enter ending port trigger.
- Select the protocol from the drop down.
- Select the start port to open.
- Select the end port to open.
- Select the protocol from the drop down.
- Click “Save/Apply.”
Speedstream 4200/4300
To set up Port Forwarding (open up ports) on a Speedstream 4200/4300, follow these steps:
- You will need to access the modem interface by going to http://192.168.254.254.
- You may need to authenticate to go into the modem setup interface. On this window, type in admin for both the user name and password. Click “OK” button.
- TCP Setup Screen
- On the left side of the Speedstream 4200/4300 web interface, click on “Setup” and select “Port Forwarding.”
- Change “Select Protocol” to TCP from the options in the drop down window.
- Set the “TCP/UDP Ports” both to 3074.
- Select the option “Redirect selected protocol/service to IP Address:” and put in IP 192.168.254.50
- Click on the “Apply” button.
- UDP Setup Screen
- Change “Select Protocol” to UDP from the options in the drop down window.
- Set the “TCP/UDP Ports” both to 88.
- Select the option “Redirect selected protocol/service to IP Address:” and put in IP 192.168.254.50
- Click on the “Apply” button.
